Jeni and I have been married for over 25 years and have raised 5 wonderful children in this community. We are proud owners of 2 other restaurants in the community, Sliceability and Rosati’s Pizza.
Family and Faith are important to us along with our local community involvement. Therefore, we wanted to create a restaurant concept where old friends and new friends come together in a fun, inviting environment.

Our entire menu reflects a superior culinary experience with a local community approach. Our Chef has worked hard to create a culinary experience that will keep you coming back for more. From time to time our Chef will create Homestead specials of the day for an all important element of surprise.
Chef David J. Smith has lived in the Forsyth County area for over 20 years. Chances are, if you’ve had a burger or boiled peanuts in Forsyth County, you’ve already had a taste of David’s food. His love for food began with his grandma who taught him the valuable lesson of
depending on oneself to cook and not others. At her stove, she revealed to him the importance of flavor – a lesson he takes into every kitchen. David’s career began as an eager-to-learn dishwasher at Norman’s Landing, a Forsyth County staple back then. From there, life took him before many great chefs who taught him the rest.
With almost 20 years in the industry, David has the honor of being called chef for nearly eight of those. His gratitude for his achievements goes, first, to God and then, second, to his family. He wouldn’t be where he is without either.
Today, here at Homestead, he is focused on flavors that built this country. Welcome Home …
